Dr. Martin and his social media manager Michelle, were great to work with. Dr. Martin is the second Scottsdale plastic surgeon to work with. What was especially interesting about him is that he's also an oral surgeon who did a lot of trauma cases. Dr. Martin has a great sense of humor and enjoys himself in the OR, but he does not like being on camera. Nevertheless, he did a great job, and had a "pretty good" time on camera.

I've filmed and photographed Suzi and her team a couple of times. They're pretty honest and open, and they have no problems joking around with me being the only guy in the building. They're a lot of fun to be around. Because they're experiencing many of the same things their clients are, they get the same treatments, which is nice.

Drs. Christy and Shanna were definitely interesting to work with. I don't mean that in a bad way. I was somewhat unfamiliar with natuopathic medicine when I filmed this, so I was really intrigued by their methods and modalities. Besides that, they were genuinely enjoyable to work with.

Medical/dental trauma podcast I filmed and edited between an oral surgeon, a general dentist who does a lot of special needs dentistry, and an endodontist. I've known these dentists for a few years now, and they are some of my favorite people. Even as a non-dentist, I found this podcast intriguing.

I always thought this RDH invention was a clever one from Alisha. We filmed this in her uncle's dental office (an endodontist). Unfortunately, she was unable to get any patients to come in for the day, so the patient in the chair is my friend and fellow videographer, Jay. Jay is always a great sport—miss working with that guy (he moved to ATL).

I created the OSR logo and branding for owners Aaron and Kori Williams in the early 2000s. At the time, Aaron had one tiny clinic in an Anthem shopping mall. Years later he’s up to 7-8 clinics (it’s hard to keep track). In 2009 I went to work for OSR as their Director of Marketing before taking a role at the Arizona Dental Association, where I’ve been for more than six years.

In 2017, OSR asked me to capture some of the stories from their Anthem/corporate employees before a team meeting. It was a last-minute project, but everyone had a great time and it all worked out. It’s always been a pleasure and an honor to be a small part of OSR extended family and part of their success—they are great people.

It was an honor working with plastic surgeon Dr. N and his team in Scottsdale, as well as having DP Corey Seese’s help on the shoot. There are definitely similarities between a dental / medical video—definitely some differences too :)
Most of the time, treatment/procedures are simulated in these kinds of promo videos. The footage of the Botox injection and the rhinoplasty in this video—yep, it’s real.

This is one of the first and smallest electric toothbrushes that a dentist friend invented. She wanted this video created so that she could use it to share with potential investors.

I've filmed a couple of times for Barbara and Pete (husband and wife). They're fellow Buckeyes and just good people who love taking care of their clients. Not fancy or pretentious, just decent business spa owners.

This was a video we shot for one of the largest brands in the dental space. It's received over 12k views on YouTube. What's crazy is that I filmed it right before COVID hit, so many dental practices were interested in this product because it reduces the amount of contaminantes in the air when doing a prophy/cleaning. Special thanks to Katrina Sanders (and her bro) for helping me with the video. Katrina is a rock star RDH and speaker.

I actually brought my wife along for this shoot. She chatted with the husband and wife while I filmed. The four of us got along really well—too bad they were "geographically undesirable," meaning they lived on one side of the Valley, and we lived on the other, so visiting each other regularly wasn't going to be convenient.

When I ran a design business, I'd worked with a handful of chiropractors here. Often a single-minded, confident bunch—they were tricky to work with. When I heard Dr. Bogash was a DC rather than a DDS, DMS, DO, or MD, I wasn't sure what to expect. More than a "rack 'em and crack 'em" provider, what struck me about getting to know (and then interview) Dr. Bogash is his knowledge and passion beyond the neck and spine. He goes through medical journals like a teenager goes through YouTube videos. After we finished the project, I referred both family and friends to him, and both have come back with wonderful reports and results.

As for the emphasis for this video, we wanted to show Dr. Bogash's knowledge base extending beyond basic chiropractic care, as well as his passion to help patients who have all but given up hope for a better, pain-free life. We also wanted to emphasize that Dr. Bogash's treatments involve a lot of soft tissue work, which is vital in healing.

Lengthy but powerfully-effective I created for Chiropractor Dr. Bogash in Mesa, Arizona. In addition to chiropractic care, Dr. Bogash has a passion, and has developed several resources, for people struggling with chronic migraine headaches. A five minute-video is a fairly long video, but for people who are suffering and looking for answers, we put together a straightforward, honest promotional video that's yielded some great results.

Very quick video I put together for LifeCare Chiropractic in Mesa, AZ. The patient was great to work with, but we didn't have a lot of time. This was actually an "add on" gratis video I offered to do for Dr. Bogash—he's been a pleasure to work with.

All of the videos below were filmed in one shot for OSR Physical Therapy. We filmed these in the Anthem, AZ clinic—gorgeous and spacious facility by the way. I shot these videos on a really tight deadline, and in fact, as team members or patients arrived, I chatted with them for a couple of minutes and then started to roll the cameras. We were moving fast! In order to do this, directors have to be organized, prepared, and engaged—thankfully, I didn't have too many hiccups to manage, and Nicci, who works at OSR, was a huge help.

This was a fun day of filming—the team at OSR is great (I of course know. I used to be on the team, and I am honored to still be able to contribute to their success when I can lend a hand).
